Tony Romo QB Dallas Cowboys. Romo played college football for Eastern Illinois University, where he won the Walter Payton Award in 2002, and led the Panthers to an Ohio Valley Conference championship in 2001. He signed as an undrafted free agent with the Cowboys in 2003. Serving as the team's primary starter from 2006 to 2015, he guided the Cowboys to four postseason appearances and was named to the Pro Bowl four times. Romo holds several Cowboys team records, including passing touchdowns, passing yards, most games with at least 300 passing yards, and games with three or more touchdown passes. He also held a higher passer rating in the fourth quarter than any other NFL quarterback from 2006 to 2013. (AP Photo/Michael Perez)

This Oct. 11, 2015 photo shows Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, right, talking with quarterback Tony Romo before an NFL football game against the New England Patriots in Arlington, Texas. Oct. 11, 2015. Jones honored DeMarcus Ware with the announcement that the franchise sacks leader would retire as a Cowboy, then engaged in a draft discussion centered largely on finding the team’s next dominant pass rusher. It’s exactly the opposite with Tony Romo, since the Cowboys have yet to pay homage to their 10-year starting quarterback as he heads to the broadcast booth while Dallas prepares for the start of the NFL draft feeling secure in the future under center. Those closest to Romo on the Cowboys aren’t ready to discuss the future of the Dallas quarterback, probably because they know the likely final answer. After 156 games, 34,183 yards passing and 248 touchdowns, Romo’s career in Dallas appears over after he lost the job he held for 10 years to rookie sensation Dak Prescott following a preseason back injury. The question is, what’s next. (AP Photo/Matt Rourke, File)
