A Las Vegas Strip hotel that sometimes confused tourists and taxi drivers with its generic moniker, THEhotel, is getting a distinct new name and a breezy, $80 million makeover. MGM Resorts announced Wednesday April 30, 2014, that it is now accepting reservations at Delano Las Vegas, the reinvented hotel formerly known as THEhotel at the Mandalay Bay.
