World-class conductor Valery Gergiev will celebrate Igor Stravinsky with three of his major works at the Kennedy Center on Monday. The Mariinsky Orchestra will perform "The Firebird," "Petrouchka" and "The Rite of Spring" — ballet scores first performed in Paris by the Ballets Russes.
