‘Witch hunt’ is right, 50 percent of Americans now say
A new poll -- or, depending on who's doing the reporting, a stunning new poll, anastonishing new poll, an incredulous new poll -- shows 50 percent of Americans think Robert Mueller's investigation of President Donald Trump is a witch hunt. Well, duh. Expect that percentage to increase as each nuthing-burger week goes by, too. Published March 19, 2019
Mike Pompeo open to political future: ‘The Lord will’ guide me
Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, in a recent visit to his home state of Kansas, sparked talk about his political future, which some see in the Senate, others in the governor's mansion, and still others -- himself included -- unsure. He's put it in God's hands. And that right there is what makes him such a great candidate for political office. This nation needs a course correction back to godlier times -- back to Judeo-Christian principles. Published March 18, 2019
Beto O’Rourke pretends he can’t recall ‘born’ to run remark
Last week's Beto O'Rourke made national news for telling a "Variety Fair" writer he was simply "born" to run for the high White House office -- that he was "just born to be in it." This week's Beto O'Rourke can't remember making that statement. Would the real Beto O'Rourke -- i.e., Robert Francis O'Rourke -- please stand up? Published March 18, 2019
Democrats’ far-left lurch a loser for all America
Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi has been cowed by farther-than-far-left loud-mouthed youths. And make no mistake about it: This bodes badly for all of America -- particularly conservatives, particularly limited government types. Published March 16, 2019
Imran Khan, Pakistan prime minister, on New Zealand: ‘Terrorism does not have a religion’
Imran Khan, prime minister of Pakistan, reacted to the horrific murderous shootings at two Christchurch mosques in New Zealand by saying, in essence, see -- see? Terrorism is not a radical Islam thing; all religions commit the same sort of atrocities.. Well -- not exactly. Published March 15, 2019
Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez on mosque shootings: ‘Prayers’ worthless, gun control needed
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez responded to the mass shootings that left dozens dead and injured at a mosque in New Zealand by saying that "thoughts and prayers" were worthless and by suggesting gun control was the only cure. This, as an armed citizen at the mosque actually fired upon the shooters and made them flee the scene. Published March 15, 2019
Hijab hijinks on the high P.C. seas
Judge Jeanine Pirro of Fox News was just ripped across the media world for wondering aloud, on television, if a Muslim lawmaker who wears a hijab might be doing so in order to comply with the Koran, and if so, to what extent sharia law might one day supplant the Constitution as the governing compass. But why the backlash? Published March 14, 2019
Donald Trump: U.S. immigration ‘laws are so stupid’
President Donald Trump said in a press conference from the White House that America's immigration laws are "stupid," "ridiculous," and must change. Right-o on that. Published March 14, 2019
Beto O’Rourke’s bare-footed feign at greatness

Seattle-area church fights forced funding of abortions
Attorneys for the nonprofit Alliance Defending Freedom just filed a lawsuit on behalf of Cedar Park Assembly of God over a Washington state mandate passed a year ago, via Senate Bill 6219, requiring employers who provide maternity care in their group insurance plans to also cover elective abortions. Talk about bullying the believers. Published March 12, 2019
Mark Zuckerberg’s mind-reading madness
Mark Zuckerberg, Facebook CEO, is trying to build a "brain-computer interface" -- or, in layman's, technology that can read your mind. No keyboard needed. Does anybody outside of the techno-geek crowd believe this is a good idea? Published March 12, 2019
When A.I. says you’re mentally ill …
A machine that tells what's wrong with your mind does seem on the freakish-slash-frightening side of the emerging technology world. Published March 12, 2019
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez at SXSW: Americans leave jobless ‘to die’
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez said that while the looming robotic culture is something to embrace, the flip side is dire because, after all, this country is a society that simply leaves its jobless "to die." Hmm. Wonder where all those millions taxpayers sent to food stamps and housing assistance and basic living aid went through the years. Published March 11, 2019
Eric Holder: The best reason to vote Republican in 2020
Eric Holder, with his call for a Democratic president to add seats to the U.S. Supreme Court, just gave Republicans one of the best political talking points for the coming elections. Why? He basically told America that if Democrats win the White House, we'll un-Americanly manipulate the courts so conservatives will be stifled for decades to comes. Published March 9, 2019
Stupid House resolution on ‘anti-Semitism’ is just so stupid
So the House, under Speaker Nancy Pelosi's leadership, responded to anti-Semitic comments made by a member of the Democratic Party by passing a resolution condemning hate. How stupid. We needed a winnowing stick. A nun's ruler, even. Instead, we got a vanilla ice cream cone. A silly document that says, in essence, hate is bad. Published March 8, 2019
Ilhan Omar steps in anti-Semitic mud once again

America’s money-trail ‘allegiance’ to the Muslim world
Muslim Rep. Ilhan Omar has made international headlines by suggesting, slyly and without naming names, that America's historic support of Israel is tantamount to American lawmakers' "allegiance" to a foreign nation. As if. Follow the money trail, and it seems America's more in "allegiance" with the Muslim-dominated countries. Published March 7, 2019
Joe Lieberman warns Democrats off Ilhan Omar
Joe Lieberman, former senator and vice presidential nominee, offered some stern words to the Democrats rallying around Rep. Ilhan Omar right now that went like this: Tread carefully.
