COVID-19 emergency declarations must end now

The White House, in the coming days, will make a decision on whether or not to continue a couple of the emergency declarations tied to COVID-19. It's high time to stop with the hysteria. The coronavirus hasn't been an emergency for the general public for a very, very long time. Published February 15, 2022

President Joe Biden speaks in support of changing the Senate filibuster rules that have stalled voting rights legislation, at Atlanta University Center Consortium, on the grounds of Morehouse College and Clark Atlanta University, Jan. 11, 2022, in Atlanta. With the November elections creeping up and Republicans imposing new restrictions on ballot access, Biden has no easy options for safeguarding voting rights despite rising pressure from frustrated activists. Biden’s own party doesn’t want him

More than half of Americans who vote Democrat say Joe Biden should not run for a second presidential term. Cue Sally Field, with a twist: They hate me -- they really hate me. Published February 14, 2022

Democrats want obedience and worship

Connecticut's Democratic governor, Ned Lamont, said the citizens have done such a good job of obeying government mandates on the coronavirus that now they can have back some of their liberties -- that they "have earned this freedom." Is he on China's payroll or something? Published February 12, 2022

Truckers and supporters block the access leading from the Ambassador Bridge, linking Detroit and Windsor, as truckers and their supporters continue to protest against COVID-19 vaccine mandates and restrictions, in Windsor, Ont., Thursday, Feb. 10, 2022. (Nathan Denette /The Canadian Press via AP)

Truckers unite! Democrats should love these protests

The Department of Homeland Security sent 'round a warning to police in America about the possibility of truckers here getting their Canada on and setting up blockades in the streets to protest vaccine mandates. You'd think the left would love this grassroots activism. But no. Published February 10, 2022

President Joe Biden speaks about domestic manufacturing, unions and electric vehicles in the South Court Auditorium in the Eisenhower Executive Office Building on the White House complex, Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2022, in Washington. (AP Photo/Alex Brandon)

Biden’s cognitive function shouldn’t be partisan

This shouldn't be a partisan issue. This shouldn't be a Republican versus Democrat issue. This is an American issue. It goes to the president's ability to protect and defend the Constitution from enemies, and to keep the country safe and secure. Published February 10, 2022

Democrats are playing politics with face masks — and kids

Democrats in Democratic-run states are suddenly, seemingly out of the blue, even somewhat surprisingly, dropping face mask mandates for citizens -- with exceptions and extensions for school children, however. The science is this: Adults vote. Kids don't. Union members do. Published February 9, 2022

Dr. Rochelle Walensky, director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), poses for a portrait during an interview with The Associated Press on Dec. 8, 2021, in Atlanta. One year into Walensky’s tenure as director, her bid to make the CDC more agile is being challenged by political pressures, vocal scientists and the changing virus itself. (AP Photo/Brynn Anderson, File)

CDC is a bureaucratic mess that should be abolished

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is a mess of confusing, conflicting, politicized bureaucracy. Once upon a time, conservatives called for the dismantling of the federal Education Department. Perhaps it's time to consider the same fate for the federal health agency. Published February 8, 2022

Stacey Abrams joins list of Democrats with face mask hypocrisy

Georgia's Democratic gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams was just shamed for a social media photo that showed her face mask-less among a sea of face-masked children and her response? Quit being racist. Welcome to deep Democrat territory, the land called hypocrisy. Published February 7, 2022

FILE - Protective masks hang in a decontamination unit at the Battelle N95 decontamination site during the coronavirus pandemic in Somerville, Mass. Before the coronavirus struck, N95 masks were single use. A nurse could use a dozen a day. Many American hospitals are looking broad for health care workers, saying they're facing a dire shortage of nurses amid the slogging pandemic. It could be just in time as there's an unusually high number of green cards available this year for foreign professionals seeking to move to the United States. The reason is U.S. consulates were closed during the coronavirus pandemic, leaving tens of thousands of unused visa slots for eligible workers. (AP Photo/Michael Dwyer, File)

‘Natural immunity’ finally squeaks past gaslighters, censors

Once upon a time, natural immunity was a given -- a God-given, in fact. That is to say that humans are equipped by their Creator with the inherent ability to fight off diseases. And that was recognized biology -- settled science, so to speak. Then came the politicization of COVID-19. Published February 5, 2022

American Olympians playing for China are betraying USA

At least seven Americans have jumped Team USA to go play for China in the Olympics. They are betraying the United States, pure and simple. No man can serve two masters. Just as you can't serve God and mammon -- you can't serve freedom and tyranny. Published February 4, 2022

This photo made available by the U.S. National Archives shows a portion of the United States Constitution with the title of Article V. For the past two centuries, constitutional amendments have originated in Congress, where they need the support of two-thirds of both houses, and then the approval of at least three-quarters of the states. But under a never-used second prong of Article V, amendments can originate in the states. (National Archives via AP) ** FILE **

Conservatives can’t afford to take revenge

These are perilous times in America right now. From every corner come calls to censor, catcalls to stifle, cries to shut down and boot and shut up those who speak the so-deemed unspeakable. Conservatives shouldn't enter that movement, no matter how tempting. Published February 3, 2022

Actress Whoopi Goldberg defended former Vice President Joseph R. Biden on "The View." She said Mr. Biden's longtime association with former President Barack Obama demonstrated that Mr. Biden wasn't a racist. (AP Photo/Mary Altaffer) ** FILE **

Whoopi Goldberg has a right to be wrong

ABC News just suspended Whoopi Goldberg for two weeks from "The View" because she mistakenly, incorrectly and egregiously falsely stated that the Holocaust wasn't "about race" but rather about man's inhumanity to man. This is a missed teaching moment. Published February 2, 2022

Dear Democrats, 70% say enough of the COVID clampdowns

Fully 70% of Americans say they've grown tired of all the coronavirus talk, and equally tired of all the coronavirus clampdowns on freedoms, and they also say it's high time to "get on" with living. In other words: Dear Democrats, it's time to find a new political tool. Published February 1, 2022

No, Biden did not do a Reagan on Supreme Court

President Biden has announced he will choose a Black woman to nominate for retiring Supreme Court Justice Stephen G. Breyer's seat. That means he puts skin color first, consideration for the Constitution second. Published February 1, 2022

Government’s growing get-out-of-jail-free card: Qualified immunity

Many of today's public servants, with alarming and increasing frequency, can legally violate the civil rights of citizens any which way they want, and citizens have very little power to protest in court. This is a recipe for constitutional disaster. Published January 29, 2022

America’s ultimate war is God-given vs. government-granted

Americans are born into their rights, which are given -- freely, no less -- by an all-powerful, all-sovereign God. So as America's belief in, regard for and reliance upon God goes, so goes America's political, cultural, educational and economic structures. Published January 26, 2022

(Salvatore Di Nolfi/Keystone via AP) ** FILE **

Dr. Fauci pitches next vaccine — or does he?

Dr. Anthony Fauci said it's "prudent" to "prepare" a vaccine that specifically targets omicron. Then in the next breath, he said it's not necessarily necessary. And with that, bam -- Fauci brings his trademark flip-floppiness to America's COVID-19 stage. Published January 26, 2022

Patrick Novecosky, of Warrenton, Va., holds his son Daniel, 7, and son Peter, 9 stands beside them, as they participate in a rally sponsored by Catholic Vote and Fight for Schools, in Leesburg, Va., Saturday, Oct. 2, 2021. When Democrat Terry McAuliffe said during the Virginia governor’s debate last week that he doesn’t believe “parents should be telling schools what they should teach,” his opponent pounced. Republican Glenn Youngkin quickly turned the footage into a digital ad, then announced spending $1 million on a commercial airing statewide proclaiming that “Terry went on the attack against parents.” (AP Photo/Cliff Owen)

Virginia’s lawless leftists go fishing for kids to exploit

Democrats, on school face mask watch, like to pretend they have a moral high ground. But all they're really doing is fishing for victims to exploit so they can further their own selfishly ambitious political goals. Published January 25, 2022

Jen Psaki — Janitor Jen — can’t clean up Biden’s messes

President Biden is so low in the polls that even his friends in the media are warning of voter backlash and clean sweeps of Republican wins in the coming elections. But change? Nope. Biden bungles; Janitor Jen Psaki rushes to clean up his messes. Nary a change in direction comes. Nor will it. Published January 25, 2022
