U.S. Marine Corps rocked by cheating scandal
Six Marine Corps officers wearing second lieutenant ranks have been accused of cheating during a nighttime land navigation course at Quantico, Virginia. It's a sad day when America's most-esteemed fighting force faces dings for something so sullied. America loves its Marines -- but the stain of cheating is a tough one to scrub. Democrats, on Ron DeSantis-Andrew Gillum, need to stop monkeying around
If only Ron DeSantis were a Democrat, there wouldn't be any problem with his use of the word "monkey" in context of discussing political leanings. When Barack Obama used the phrase in 2008, nobody raised eyebrows. Published August 30, 2018
Twitter’s shocking shrug on death message to Dana Loesch’s kids
Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey swears by his mother's right hand that his social media empire does not lean left when it comes to purposely blocking conservatives but letting flow unhindered the thoughts of liberals. Yet a tweet that spoke in reverent tones of the need to murder the children of Dana Loesch, of the NRA, was A-OK to stay. Published August 30, 2018
Suzanna Walters, man-hating professor, slapped with Title IX sex bias complaint
A female sociology professor at Northeastern University who penned a piece for The Washington Post in June that asked, "Why Can't We Hate Men?" and then went on to list the logical ways "we," in fact, both could and should, has been slapped with a sex discrimination complaint by a bunch of men. My, how the tables do turn. Published August 29, 2018
John McCain’s death opens door on Obamacare repeal
Republicans in the Senate say John McCain's death has opened a door for a new Obamacare repeal vote, and are pressing Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey to appoint someone who swings that way. Better yet: Appoint someone who doesn't do like McCain and profess, right around election time, to hate Obamacare and promise its repeal and then, right around winning election time, vote to keep it intact. NFL anthem-kneelers could learn a thing or two from J.J. Watt
The overpaid, over-pampered, pretentious, self-indulgent anthem-kneelers of the NFL could learn a thing or two from J.J. Watt of the Houston Texans. Published August 28, 2018
Stupid student assignment: Pick who dies — homosexual, orphan or Muslim
Creativity's great and all -- but this is just one class assignment that goes beyond the "trying to spark student interest" phase and smack dab into the "what-the-freak" territory. Published August 28, 2018
James Inhofe’s brave quip: John McCain ‘partially to blame’ for White House flag flap
Sen. James Inhofe, the Republican who's due to take over leadership of the Senate Armed Services Committee, made a brave remark during a chat with reporters that John McCain is "partially to blame" for the White House's back-and-forth on lowering-raising-lowering again the U.S. flag as a mark of honor for the senator's death. ACLU defends NRA — yes, you read that right
The American Civil Liberties Union filed an amicus brief in federal court in defense of the National Rifle Association's legal right to do business in New York -- and in opposition to Democrat Gov. Andrew Cuomo's pressure on insurance and financial organizations to cut ties with those who do business with the firearms group. Published August 27, 2018
Donald Trump’s just-right statement on John McCain
President Donald Trump put out a brief expression of sympathy for the family of John McCain in the aftermath of the Arizona senator's death -- and now, a couple media cycles later, it's like he unilaterally bombed North Korea, or purposely ran over a box full of kitties. But on this, Trump shouldn't be criticized. At least he's not a hypocrite. Published August 27, 2018
Voters — the people who count — say Manafort, Cohen won’t hurt Trump
Rasmussen pollsters found that despite the widely shrill pantings of the anti-Donald Trump press, the Paul Manafort guilty verdicts and the Michael Cohen plea bargain won't matter when it comes to harming the president. The people who matter most are yawning at the Manafort-Cohen developments. Published August 25, 2018
Donald Trump ‘demonic?’ Apparently — and more: CNN’s wild ‘fake news’ interview
President Donald Trump is a criminal thug, a serial liar, a racist pig, a woman hater, and an all-around bad dude who's been following in the footsteps of the devil, according to Harvard's Cornell West, in a wild and crazy CNN "interview." This is a classic example of what President Donald Trump means when he labels news as fake. Published August 24, 2018

Geraldo Rivera, one of Fox's go-to pundits, made an emotional plea about the after-effects of the murder of Mollie Tibbetts, telling his host and the audience that Americans should show some "compassion" for immigrants and refrain from painting them all with a broad criminal brush. Boy, talk about reading the tea leaves wrong. Published August 24, 2018

Watch out America -- that patient-doctor relationship is about to be blown apart by Big Technology, Big Government and Big Business. It's also being pushed down the very same road walked by the former USSR. Published August 23, 2018
Robert Mueller’s poll numbers soar, as anti-Donald Trump press swirls
A new Fox News poll shows Robert Mueller's favor with the American public has soared post-Paul Manafort, post-Michael Cohen by double-digit amounts. So what's it all mean? Maybe that the media has been successful in selling the image of a corrupt White House. Published August 23, 2018
Oprah Winfrey’s despicable ‘ShoutYourAbortion’ advocacy
A few days ago, in an appearance on "Washington Journal" on C-SPAN, I said in answer to a caller's question that I didn't know any woman who went cheerily toward an abortion, happily off to the operating table, in some sort of "let the suction begin!" type of trance. Then came Oprah with her "Shout Your Abortion" magazine feature. Published August 22, 2018
Mollie Tibbetts and the callous response of the left
The beautiful 20-year-old Mollie Tibbetts is dead, allegedly murdered by an illegal immigrant, 24, who was supposed to be in Mexico but was instead flouting U.S. law and order and living and working for the last few years inside America's borders. And Nancy Pelosi wants Dreamers to know they haven't run out of time to apply for their renewals. Published August 22, 2018
