The Washington Commanders have parted ways with senior offensive assistant Jim Hostler, a source with knowledge of the situation said — marking another shakeup to coach Ron Rivera's staff.

"We did what we did because we loved Drew and know how good of a coach Drew is as a young coach," Jim Hostler, Washington's former wide receiver who is now a senior offensive assistant, said last November. "And we didn't wanna lose him because obviously we were probably gonna lose him because those things get out. People want those kinds of coaches; they want young coaches, and we didn't wanna let him go."
