Taikichiro Mori (1 March 1904 – 30 January 1993) was Dean of the Faculty of Commerce at Yokohama City University who later became a real estate investor at age 51. During his tenure at the University, he founded the Mori Building Company. After retiring from the University in 1959, he became the president of the company. His investments made him the richest man in the world in 1992, when he had a net worth of $13 billion.
