Rep. Ann Kirkpatrick (AZ-1) was elected to represent Arizona's 1st District in 2008, lost her seat to Republican Paul Gosar in 2010, and then won it back by defeating former state Sen. Jonathan Paton in 2012 after redistricting made the district more Democrat-friendly. State Reps. Adam Kwasman and Andy Tobin, and businessman Gary Kiehne, are vying to oppose Kirkpatrick, with the GOP primary set for Aug. 26. (Associated Press)
