In this Thursday, June 14, 2018 photo, Bill Thacker, an Experimental Aircraft Association pilot, finds the controls in the Ford Tri-Motor aircraft a little bit different from the commercial jets he has flown for United Airlines, in Bloomington, Ill. He is one of a handful of pilots who fly the plane around the country and is flying the plane this weekend at Central Illinois Regional Airport in Bloomington.  The flights are sponsored by the EAA and several local Twin Cities business. The flights are available to the public and scheduled to be flown through Sunday. The plane first flew in 1928.
