David Renz enters Judge Thomas Miller's courtroom for sentencing on Friday,  May 16, 2014 in Syracuse, N.Y.  Renz, 30, has been sentenced to life in prison without parole for raping a girl and killing her mother after cutting off his ankle monitor last year. Renz admitted when he pleaded guilty to first-degree murder that he carjacked the woman and her 10-year-old daughter on March 14, 2013.
