Police in southwestern Michigan say a Kearns died in a reckless driving incident, not a fall down the stairs. When Kearns was brought to Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo on Oct. 11, medical staff was told he had been injured in a tumble down a flight of stairs. Van Buren County sheriff's Sgt.
