Facing elimination, the third baseman tied it with a triple off the right-field wall. After each team scored two runs in the 10th, Freese blasted a walk-off homer in the 11th. Freese started Game 7 with a two-run double in the opening frame. He finished with three doubles, a triple, a home run, five walks and a 1.160 OPS.
