This 2008 photo released by Outpost Films & Saboteur Media shows filmmaker and journalist Sebastian Junger, photographed by Tim Hetherington, while they were embedded with U.S. troops in OP Restrepo, in Afghanistan. From May 2007 to July 2008, Junger and his colleague Hetherington chronicled the deployment of the platoon in the deadliest valley in Afghanistan, and the experiences they captured became "Restrepo." Junger's new documentary film, "Korengal," continues where his prior film, "Restrepo," left off, constructed by the director from unseen footage, releasing first in New York on May 30, 2014, and nationwide soon after.
