U.S. Air Force Col. Frank Jones shakes Liz's paw during her retirement ceremony on Charleston Air Force Base, S.C., Tuesday, June 10, 2008. Colonel Jones is the 437th Mission Support Group commander. Liz is a military working dog who has served in the 437th Security Forces Squadron for 10 years. She has been on a multitude of temporary duty assignments to locations such as Greece, Saudi Arabia and Iraq. Liz also went on seven different Secret Service and Department of State missions to protect President George W. Bush and President Bill Clinton.
