The The National Cathedral installed two stained glass windows in 1953 with a variety of scenes seeking to depict American history in a way that promoted healing and reconciliation, but in 2015 in good conscience can not justify the presence of the Confederate flag in a house of prayer for all people. Dean Hall will address the stained glass in his sermon at the Cathedral this Sunday June 28, 2018 in Washington, DC. AFP PHOTO/PAUL J. RICHARDS
