Elon Musk’s X is beefing up its security and content moderation teams.

Over the past month, X has posted more than two dozen new jobs covering cybersecurity and content moderation. The jobs range from threat intelligence specialists on the security side to government affairs managers on the content side.

Most of the jobs will be located in Austin, where Mr. Musk intends to shift X’s headquarters from San Francisco. The new employees will likely be added to X’s new content team in the Texas capital.

Other job postings for content moderation and cybersecurity positions appear for X’s offices in California, India and the Philippines.

X’s new hiring spree comes two years after Mr. Musk took over what was then known as Twitter and eliminated thousands of jobs, including around 80% of the company’s trust and safety staff.

According to critics, the cuts in X’s content and cybersecurity teams have left it vulnerable to issues abroad and domestically. Last month, X was banned in Brazil due to the company’s refusal to censor accounts that government officials didn’t like.
