OPINION:
It’s been said the American people are smart and aware of what goes on in the world. So how is it that half the country seems to support the Democrats, who have lied right to our faces?
As an independent voter, I watched some of Vice President Kamala Harris’ first interview as the Democratic presidential nominee and some of the Democratic National Convention to see what she had to say. There were thousands of gullible, brainwashed Harris supporters there, cheering and screaming as if they just won the lottery. I couldn’t believe how all those people could support a far-left socialist who is an American in name only and ignores everything our country stands for.
The fascist news media have bent over backward trying to put lipstick on a pig. Many Americans are not taking into consideration that Ms. Harris is a merchant of death.
After the disastrous Afghanistan withdrawal in 2021, CNN’s Dana Bash asked Ms. Harris whether she had been “the last person in the room” when President Biden made the call to evacuate all U.S. troops, and whether she felt “comfortable” with the decision. Ms. Harris’ response: “I do.”
These two words tell me Ms. Harris accepts no responsibility for the deaths during that debacle three years ago. She similarly seems to accept no responsibility for the numerous deaths that have taken place at our southern border or the tens of thousands of fentanyl deaths that have happened as a result of her and President Biden’s open-border policy.
Ms. Harris has not discussed the Hamas-perpetrated murders and torture of American citizens taken hostage in Israel last October. She and Mr. Biden’s kowtowing to our sworn enemy Iran — which was behind Oct. 7 — allowed the massacre to happen.
Ms. Harris has said we should forget the past and look to the future. This ignores the high body count she leaves in her wake. If elected, she will be like the Roman emperor Nero, watching the country burn to the ground.
