The “J6 Awards Gala” will not take place as scheduled at the New Jersey golf course of former President Donald Trump.

The fundraiser for defendants in the Jan. 6 riots at the U.S. Capitol had been scheduled for Thursday at the Trump National Golf Club Bedminster, with Mr. Trump listed as an “invited speaker.”

But now, according to its website, it has been “postponed” with neither a new date nor a new location listed Tuesday afternoon.

Event organizer L.J. Fino said in a statement to Fox Business that the reason was “scheduling conflicts of invited guest speakers.”

Fox Business also reported that the event has been rebranded as the “Justice for All Gala” and will take place after the Nov. 5 election.

Some of the other invited names included former New York Mayor Rudolph W. Giuliani, conservative comedian Anthony Raimondi, and Peter Navarro, a former Trump White House deputy.

According to an NBC News report, the tickets for the event had ranged from $1,500 per person for general admission to $50,000 for a “platinum table” for 12 at the VIP reception.

The money would have gone to the legal fees of rioters whom Mr. Trump and other Republicans have referred to as political prisoners and deep-state victims.

Mr. Trump has said he would pardon Jan. 6 defendants if he is elected president.
