America’s best days are yet to come, so long as Americans, as a people, realize that solutions don’t come from government so much as from God. That means if America is to regain its exceptionalism, then Americans must turn back to God. That’s really the essence of it.
“We can restore the American Dream,” says Timothy Goeglein, with Focus on the Family. “I really believe that we are seeing the seeds being sown by others [who believe similarly.”
Yes, America is facing a crossroads and yes, Americans of faith are awakening to the dangers that have reared in recent times that threaten everything from parental rights and traditional families to national security and economic stability. But the problem is much of the counterculture of yesteryear lingers.
“The moral and social revolution of the 1960s and 70s” proved devastating, Goeglein says. “It was really the most profound revolution America has ever had … [and] we are still reeling from the frontal assaults.”
