Sen. Lindsey Graham said Sunday that the Biden-Harris administration has been slow to deliver weapons to Ukraine and hesitant about allowing Kyiv to put maximum pressure on Russia to force Moscow to the negotiating table.

Speaking on “Fox News Sunday,” Mr. Graham told anchor Shannon Bream that NATO allies want Kyiv to have the authority to use the weapons they have received so Russian President Vladimir Putin isn’t in a position to set policy.

“It’s not just Ukraine. The entire world is on fire and [Vice President Kamala] Harris’ fingerprints are all over this,” the South Carolina Republican said. “She was the last person in the room in Afghanistan.”

He accused the White House of being a complete disaster on the world stage. While Iran was boxed in during the Trump administration, one of President Biden’s first moves when he came into the White House was to get them back into the oil business, he noted.

“We were at 300,000 barrels a day when Trump left in terms of oil [but it’s] 1.3 million now a day,” Mr. Graham said. “They took that money, gave it to Hamas [and] Hezbollah, and they’re on the verge of a nuclear weapon.”

Mr. Graham said he’s never been more worried about a nuclear breakout by Iran than he is right now. He warned that the U.S. may be living on “borrowed time” with regard to another 9/11-style attack.

“The withdrawal from Afghanistan put every jihadist on steroids. We have a broken border [and] there are more terrorists in our country than any time I can remember,” he said. “If the Ayatollah [Seyyed Ali Hosseini Khamenei], who is a religious Nazi, had a nuclear weapon, he would use it.”

The White House has no plan to end the war in Ukraine that can be considered effective, he said. Mr. Graham strongly supports former President Donald Trump’s reelection and said the U.S. needs a leader who can get both sides to the negotiating table and end the fighting in a way that doesn’t lead to yet another conflict there in a few years.

“He [Mr. Trump] is right to want to end the war in a way not to start a new war,” Mr. Graham said. “The last person I would listen to about how to end the war is the Biden administration or the Obama team.”
