OPINION:
Since when do Americans wait with bated breath to see whom celebrities endorse for political office before choosing their candidates (“Pop superstar and ‘Childless Cat Lady’ Taylor Swift endorses Harris,” web, Sept. 10)?
Taylor Swift is a billionaire and couldn’t care less about inflation. Entertainers like Ms. Swift and George Clooney are among the elite and in a class of their own.
And this business about Kamala Harris being a “warrior” is simply asinine. Ms. Harris certainly isn’t fighting for the causes of everyday people.
If you are happy with out-of-control crime, terrorists and criminals crossing our open border, a corrupt and lying media, censorship, suppression of free speech, sky-high prices for everything, a weakened military, noncitizens voting and the cost of living being worse than it’s ever been, by all means, go ahead and vote for Ms. Harris.
But if Ms. Harris wins, you will surely find out that Ms. Swift’s choice was not so swift.
