America’s reached historic levels of division, thanks in large part to the Barack Obama administration and that president’s promise to change the foundation of this nation — and thanks in large part to the current Joe Biden White House, and its ongoing attacks against all-things-MAGA.
But it doesn’t have to be that way.
It wasn’t that long ago that even Democrats believed in the exceptionalism of America and wanted to preserve liberty for the future generations. In other words: All’s not lost.
Dr. Warren Farrell has penned a book about how to get along with those with different viewpoints — and it goes far beyond the common courtesies people used to regularly display.
“People are afraid to go to homes for Thanksgiving,” Farrell says, “because they’re afraid Joe or Jane have political differences and they’re afraid to explore them.”
The way to national unity “starts with appreciation,” he says.
