I am extremely ticked off at President Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris for violating their oaths by lying when they told the public that Hurricane Helene was being handled with great efficiency (“Vice President Harris visits North Carolina to survey Helene damage,” web, Oct. 5).

Mr. Biden had the gall to respond to a question about North Carolina and all of the areas hit by Helene by saying that the areas had gotten everything they needed and were all happy about the aid they’d received. Let me tell you, if I could have responded to him directly at that point, I would have given that incompetent pathological liar a tongue-lashing he would never forget.

Sen. Lindsey Graham, South Carolina Republican, went on “The Sean Hannity Show” recently to tell everyone that Aiken County, South Carolina — where I live — was the hardest hit in the entire state. I was out of power for six days, using a generator just a few hours a day to conserve the small amount of gasoline I had.

I was without cellphone service for three days. When I ran low on fuel, I went into town — and saw that our gas stations were out of gas. I am a 100% disabled Marine veteran of the Vietnam War, and the storm placed a burden on me that I could have done without.

Kamala Harris is a bald-faced liar, and she and her boss have blamed former President Donald Trump for every stupid thing they have done, misleading their gullible supporters into buying the nonsense they are selling. Instead of pausing her campaign during and right after Helene, Ms. Harris went on trying to drum up support. Meanwhile, people were dying in the states hit by the hurricane.

Ms. Harris reminds me of a bobblehead doll, bouncing her head up and down, trying to get people to agree with her outlandish and unintelligible responses to questions. If Ms. Harris wins in November, we all will lose.
