Yossi Tubur was a military reservist on Oct. 7, 2023, in Kibbutz Magen on the Israel-Gaza border and was on the way to synagogue when the missiles started to land.

Yael Eckstein, the president and CEO of the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews, recalls how she jumped into action to begin distributing humanitarian aid – $10 million in the first week alone – to the soldiers fighting and the civilians impacted by the attack.
