One of the most ridiculous things I’ve heard from Vice President Kamala Harris (other than her outbursts of nervous laughter) is her claim that she is going to unite our country if elected president. She is incapable of uniting the American people.

This country has approximately 186.5 million registered voters. Thirty-six million of those are Republicans, 45 million are Democrats and 38 million are either independents or something else.

Of course, the “big three” don’t add up to 186 million, but that’s how the reporting agencies present it.

I think it’s fair to assume that most Republicans and many independents do not and will not support the Harris-Walz ticket. Given such sentiment, how does Ms. Harris imagine she has the ability to unite our country? How can she speak in such terms and expect anyone to believe her? Ms. Harris would have the ear of barely half of the country at best. The rest would simply ignore her (or hate her, at worst).

It reminds me of what Ms. Harris once said about people ages 18 to 24: She called them stupid. Sometimes I think Ms. Harris views all of us that way. It’s condescending, arrogant and rude. That is the real Kamala Harris.
