Elon Musk has been giving $1 million each day to registered swing state voters via his pro-Donald Trump “America” super PAC. And just of late, the Philadelphia district attorney has filed a civil suit against Musk, alleging all kinds of scary-sounding crimes and misdemeanors and scurrilous practices. Oh ye, oh yay, Democrats are certainly up in arms.

And that is really kind of funny when you think about it.

Where were the cries of criminal behavior while George Soros was busily buying up district attorneys and attorneys general so as to completely uproot America’s justice system from the local and state levels?

When Soros buys elections, it’s A-OK. When Musk starts up an “encourage the vote” campaign, suddenly Democrats see a problem. Specifically, Musk announced an award of $1 million each day to a random signer of his PAC’s petition that requests “support for the First and Second Amendments.” Only residents in certain swing states are eligible for the randomly selected $1 million giveaway.

This is a far cry from how Soros gets involved in election activity.

“Soros Group Gives $60 Million to Super PAC That Boosts Democrats,” Bloomberg wrote in April.

“Soros-backed dark money network paid New York Dem candidate’s salary: ‘Incredibly problematic,’” Fox News wrote in October.

“George Soros’s Prosecutors Wage War on Law and Order,” The Heritage Foundation wrote in June of 2023, about all the millions of dollars Soros-tied organizations have sent to sway local prosecutors’ elections, with a goal of seeing his personally selected anti-law-and-order candidate prevail. And thus let the defund the police movements go wild. Voila, watch the get-out-of-jail cards-to-criminals get disbursed.

Musk’s PAC sweepstakes is for registered voters who sign on their support for free speech and gun rights — constitutional amendments and protections, both.

Democrats can’t take the heat. They hate it when their attempts to buy elections are being thwarted by their political opponents.

They especially hate Musk because he has so much money he can afford to not care about their whining.

“The Philadelphia District Attorney is charged with protecting the public from public nuisances and unfair trade practices, including illegal lotteries,” Philly D.A. Larry Krasner said, The Hill wrote. “The DA is also charged with protecting the public from interference with the integrity of elections.”

Krasner is a Democrat.

He’s also a Soros-backed district attorney.

“Krasner received substantial support from billionaire Democratic donor George Soros in the past,” ABC News wrote. “He pumped nearly $1.7 million into Krasner’s first run for district attorney, according to campaign finance reports.”

Musk is no friend of Soros.

On a recent episode of Joe Rogan’s podcast, the X owner said that Soros “is doing things that erode the fabric of civilization.” Such as? Such as “getting DAs elected that refuse to prosecute crime,” Musk went on.

“Soros,” Musk said to Rogan, “realized that you don’t actually need to change the laws — you just need to change how they’re enforced. If no one chooses to enforce the laws, or [if] the laws are differentially enforced, it’s like changing the laws.”

Democrats don’t really have a problem with that. What they do have a problem with is someone of Musk’s means jumping into the political fray for conservative principles of free speech and gun rights, and standing tall and proud on a stage with the left’s Public Enemy Number One, Trump.

And what does the left do when it can’t shut down dissenting views using normal bully tactics and intimidation? They go to court. They turn to the courts. They talk about the Constitution and the laws and orders they regularly violate, and cry how they need to put a stop to the pretend violations of law and Constitution and order they pin on their political opponents.

They suck in their breath hard and spew out the lies loudly.

“Bloomberg News has identified more than half a dozen ongoing legal fights in which Musk is a defendant or a plaintiff, as well as about a dozen others involving his companies,” Mercury News wrote on Oct. 1. From racial discrimination to excessive executive pay packages, Musk is fielding heavy court fire.

“A shareholder suit alleges that Musk’s use of illicit recreational drugs threatens Tesla’s business, including by apparently influencing his sometimes erratic behavior online,” Mercury News wrote.

Word is Musk has also colluded with Russia to influence American elections — oh, and that he likes prostitutes to urinate on him.

“The Justice Department Lawsuit Against Elon Musk Exposes the State’s True Nature,” the Foundation for Economic Education wrote in September of 2023, on how President Biden’s Department of Justice alleged that SpaceX only hires U.S. citizens and green-card holders, and therefore unfairly discriminates against refugees and U.S. asylum-seekers.

The horror.

And now this same DOJ is warning Musk that he better stop the $1 million giveaway because it may be illegal. Another way to say that: It may not be illegal.

But DOJ isn’t focused so much on truth as on exerting power against political enemies. Same with the media and its nameless, shameless reporting.

“A source familiar with the matter told NBC News that the [DOJ’s] public integrity section sent a letter to Musk’s super PAC, America PAC, informing the group that its giveaway, aimed at voters who sign a ‘free speech’ and ‘’gun rights’ petition, may be in violation of federal law,” MSNBC News wrote.

May be. Maybe.

Who needs clarity and law when accusation and perception are just as handily helpful at slamming someone with conservative ideals in the Democrat-fawning media?

If Democrats truly cared about election integrity and the protection of the public from nuisances and unfair trade practices and illegal lotteries and interference with campaigns — they would’ve spoken out when Soros was flooding the system with his millions upon millions of dollars. They would have called for criminal and civil investigations into Soros-tied cash and the outside influencing of local elections, leading to the disenfranchisement of communities of voters. They would have ran to their friends in the press with expressions of outrage about constitutional crises and imbalances of power and told stories upon stories of poor mom and pop voters whose voices were being stripped at the ballot boxes.

Democrats didn’t.

They happily sucked up the Soros money and happily sat back and watched how the billionaire’s bucks were being used to tear down all that’s foundational in America.

Now that Musk is putting his money toward pro-Trump use — really, toward pro-America use — the left is going nuts. Let the lawsuits come.

“[People] who say Trump is a threat to democracy are themselves a threat to democracy,” Musk said to a crowded Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, room just this week.

Exactly.

Musk knows it. Democrats know it. A nation of overwhelmingly patriotic and pro-American voters knows it. And there just aren’t enough Soros dollars in the world to silence the votes and voices of those who’ve grown tired of all the threats to America.
