If more Christians stayed engaged in culture and politics, then America wouldn’t be walking these dark paths rights now — that’s a common sense truth that even the Founders warned us to abide.

It’s only the moral and virtuous who are capable of self-governance.

It’s only when people of moral and godly character serve in politics with humble attitudes and belief in consequences from a Creator that America stays free.

So where have all the Christians gone?

The good news: they’re getting louder and bolder.

“I’ve witnessed first hand the willingness of Christians who have often been quiet, silent, almost apathetic when it came to things that are considered political [to now speak up],” said Gina Gleason, who heads up Real Impact, a ministry dedicated to teaching churches how to become more active in politics and culture.

“Awakening has been happening,” Gleason said.

That bodes well for a nation based on an ideal of God-given liberties and rights.
