Former President Donald Trump will tape an interview with podcaster Joe Rogan on Friday, an attempt to reach young male voters who could nudge him to victory.

Mr. Trump has visited several podcasts to try and expand his base of voters.

Yet “The Joe Rogan Experience” will give him the broadest reach to date, as he’s locked in a close tight with Vice President Kamala Harris for the White House.

“Here we go!” the podcast posted on X with the scheduled date of the interview.

Mr. Rogan has been sympathetic to conservative voices and pushed back on COVID-19 mandates, but he’s also shown a willingness to hear a range of viewpoints.

Ms. Harris was reportedly in talks with Mr. Rogan about an interview, but one hasn’t been scheduled. The vice president will visit Texas for an event in Houston around the same time Mr. Trump visits Mr. Rogan in Austin.

Mr. Rogan backed Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis for president earlier in the 2024 campaign, but the governor lost to Mr. Trump in the GOP primary.

It is unclear if Mr. Rogan will be relatively friendly or challenge Mr. Trump on various points. Either way, Mr. Trump’s visit will give him a broad audience that could help him expand his lead among and non-college voters.
