OPINION:
The hosts of “The View” and some MSNBC and CNN commentators are saying they fear for their lives next year when Donald Trump takes office. Methinks they doth protest too much — all in the name of TV ratings.
Mr. Trump should offer them each $1 million to leave the U.S. permanently and renounce their American citizenship. All their properties, investments and government benefits would be transferred to a trust so they do not lose a penny. They would have to agree to never step foot on American soil again, however, or they would forfeit all their trust assets. Mr. Trump should require said offer to be accepted and executed by Jan. 3, 2025.
The president-elect would not have to pay a dime since all these folks know they have nothing to fear from Mr. Trump and will make hundreds of millions the next four years smearing my next commander in chief. Hypocrisy, after all, is good business.
