GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump is sowing seeds of doubt about the election results in “Blue Wall” swing states that could make or break his chances of returning to The White House.

Democrats have warned that Mr. Trump will try to lay the groundwork to challenge the election results if he feels he is losing ground to Vice President Kamala Harris.

Mr. Trump took to social media before the polls in Pennsylvania and Michigan closed to say there were rumors of Election Day fishy business.

“A lot of talk about massive CHEATING in Philadelphia. Law Enforcement coming!!!” Mr Trump said. “Philadelphia and Detroit! Heavy Law Enforcement is there!!!” he said a couple of hours later.

CNN reported that the mayor’s office and election department in Detroit were unaware of any police presence in the city for elections beyond what was outlined in a press conference last Thursday and widely reported nationally.”

President Biden defeated Mr. Trump in Pennsylvania and Michigan, riding strong support in Philadelphia and Detroit on his way to winning the 2020 election.

Mr. Trump and his allies went on to wage war against the results, claiming the Democratic-dominated cities were messing with the results.

Mr. Trump won both states against Hillary Clinton in 2016 and hopes to recreate that magic against Ms. Harris.

Speaking with reporters earlier in the day, Mr. Trump said he would honor the election results if he thought he got a fair shake.
