Vice President Kamala Harris predicted Monday night that the presidential election will be decided in Pennsylvania at another star-studded rally.
“We need everyone to vote. Pennsylvania, you will make the difference in this election,” she told the crowd in Pittsburgh.
Ms. Harris kept her remarks to less than 10 minutes at the Pittsburgh rally, her second-to-last before Election Day. She will close the evening with a concert featuring Lady Gaga and the Roots in Philadelphia.
The Pittsburgh rally had plenty of star power on its own. Comedian Cedric the Entertainer introduced Ms. Harris, and Katy Perry performed after the vice president walked off the stage.
The concerts are part of a series of simultaneous events in battleground states to mobile voters ahead of the election.
Ms. Harris pledged to seek “common ground and common-sense solutions” to the challenges Americans face.
“I am not looking to score political points. I am looking to making progress. I pledge to listen to those who will be impacted by the decisions and make,” she said.
Ms. Harris’ prediction that the election could be decided by Pennsylvania, which has 19 electoral votes, may prove correct.
It was one of seven battleground states that are in play and polls have it as a dead heat between Ms. Harris and former President Donald Trump.
