A Georgia court has put brakes on the criminal case against President-elect Donald Trump over the 2020 election in that state.
On Monday, the Georgia Court of Appeals canceled a Dec. 5 hearing, a bid by Mr. Trump’s legal team to disqualify Fulton County District attorney Fani Willis from the case.
The hearing was canceled “until further order of this court,” according to a Newsweek report.
It was not immediately clear why the hearing was canceled.
The charges accused Mr. Trump of scheming to undo his loss to President Biden in the Peach State.
