X and Tesla owner Elon Musk responded Tuesday to a now-deleted TikTok post from “Saturday Night Live” star Chloe Fineman who said he made her cry over a script she wrote for his 2021 appearance on the show.

“You made I, Chloe Fineman, burst into tears because I stayed up all night writing the sketch. I asked if you had any questions and you stared at me like you were firing me from Tesla and were like, ’It’s not funny.’ I waited for you to be like, ’Ha ha, joke.’ No. Then you started pawing through my script, like flipping each page, being, like, ’I didn’t laugh once, not one time,’” Ms. Fineman recounted on Monday, according to the New York Post.

On X Tuesday, Mr. Musk wrote, “Frankly, it was only on the Thursday before the Saturday that ANY of the sketches generated laughs. I was worried. I was like damn my SNL appearance is going to be so … unfunny that it will make a crackhead sober!! But then it worked out in the end.”

Ms. Fineman did qualify that the sketch in question made it to air and that Mr. Musk was funny in it, though she added that Mr. Musk should have had “a little manners here, sir,” according to Variety.

Mr. Musk also attacked a recent post-election “SNL” sketch in which he was portrayed by veteran cast member Dana Carvey.

“SNL has been dying slowly for years, as they become increasingly out of touch with reality,” Mr. Musk said on X Sunday.
