President-elect Donald Trump announced on Wednesday that Stephen Miller will serve as his deputy chief of staff for policy and homeland security.

Mr. Miller has become one of Mr. Trump’s most loyal confidantes and is a chief architect of his hard-nosed immigration agenda.

Mr. Trump is bringing three other campaign team members into his White House inner circle.

Dan Scavino, a longtime assistant, will serve as assistant to the president and deputy chief of staff.

James Blair, political director for the Trump campaign and the Republican National Committee, is also set to become assistant to the president, with the title of deputy chief of staff for legislative, political and public affairs.

Taylor Budowich, who helped lead Trump’s Save America PAC, was named assistant to the president and deputy chief of staff for communications and personnel.

“Dan, Stephen, James and Taylor were ’best in class’ advisers on my winning campaign, and I know they will honorably serve the American people in the White House,”  Mr. Trump said in a statement. “They will continue to work hard to Make America Great Again in their respective new roles.”

The foursome will serve under Susie Wiles, whom Mr. Trump tapped as chief of staff after she co-chaired his winning campaign with Chris LaCivita.
