Washington Commanders rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels has repeatedly said he doesn’t see himself as a superstar, but the latest data from the NFL Shop would disagree. The jersey for the No. 2 pick in this year’s draft ranked fifth in sales from April 1 through Oct. 31.

Daniels’ jersey trailed only those for Houston Texans signal-caller C.J. Stroud, Chicago Bears rookie Caleb Williams, Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and Detroit Lions pass rusher Aidan Hutchinson.

It isn’t surprising that the list is led by a group of young quarterbacks who shine at the sport’s most important position. Merchandise seller Fanatics had already identified Daniels as a top seller in October after he earned a pair of Rookie of the Week honors through the first month of the season.

After a scorching start to his career, Commanders fans in particular are clamoring for Daniels’ No. 5 jersey.

The jerseys for Lions receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown, Dallas Cowboys receiver CeeDee Lamb, Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen, Minnesota Vikings receiver Justin Jefferson and Las Vegas Raiders pass rusher Maxx Crosby rounded out the NFL Shop’s Top 10 list.
