Bill Maher doesn’t see a problem with Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker’s May 11 commencement speech.

The football player drew criticism from the left for his address at Kansas’ Benedictine College in which he claimed most women would love motherhood more than their careers.

Maher said on the latest episode of “Real Time,” “I don’t see what the big crime is. … I think this is part of the problem people have with the left. … He’s saying some of you may go on to lead successful careers, but a lot of you are excited about this other way. … Can’t that just be a choice, too?”

In the days since Butker’s speech went viral, the NFL has distanced itself from the kicker. The graduating class at Benedictine gave Butker a standing ovation, while other supporters have made his No. 7 NFL championship jersey a bestseller.

“I feel like they feel very put-upon,” Maher said of Butker’s liberal critics. “Like there’s only one way to be a good person: to get an advanced degree from one of those a——— factories like Harvard.”
