President Biden, in the lead-up to the State of the Union, ordered fencing to be installed around the U.S. Capitol, ostensibly for security reasons. To protect him from the masses. To save him from any clashes.

This, as America’s national borders remain open and historical levels of illegals march around our country and murder young nursing students named Laken Riley, or as Biden calls her, Lincoln Riley.

Can’t build a border fence for citizens. Check.

Can’t recall the names of innocent citizens murdered by illegals who easily cross the non-protected borders. Check, check.

Oh, and then to say this on national television about Laken, err, Lincoln, err, Laken, whatever: “To her parents,” Biden said, “I say, my heart goes out to you, having lost children myself, I understand.”

Tone deaf would be putting it kindly.

Biden’s daughter died in a car accident with her mother. Biden’s son died from brain cancer.

Laken Riley, 22, died while she was taking a time-out from her nursing studies to jog the campus of University of Georgia and was murdered. Jose Ibarra, 26, an illegal from Venezuela, was arrested and charged for her murder, as well as for concealing the death of a person, kidnapping, false imprisonment, aggravated assault and aggravated battery. Ibarra had been in U.S. custody in 2022, but due to Biden border policy, was released and since, has roamed freely, unconcerned about deportation because of Democrats’ sanctuary cities. Thanks, Joe Biden. Simply put, Laken Riley wouldn’t be dead if Ibarra hadn’t been allowed to stay illegally in America.

“The coroner’s office identified the case of death as blunt force trauma and Ibarra’s arrest warrants allege he ‘disfigured’ her skull by hitting her with an unknown object,” Fox Carolina wrote.

Not quite the same as a car wreck.

Not quite as similar as brain cancer.

Meanwhile, Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas has addressed the border issue by commanding his employees to stop using the word “illegal” while describing illegals.

If that doesn’t stop ‘em, well then, we tried! — so goes the Democrats’ helpless hands-in-the-air.

It’s protection for me, not for thee.

When Biden has a State of the Union, fencing is hastily erected. Secret Service is busily servicing. The escorts of Joe and Jill into the advanced-armored Beast are well-armed, well-practiced, well-placed. The convoy from the White House to Congress is carefully mapped, carefully planned, carefully strategized — and even more carefully guarded, with carefully trained armed guards. The pathways and walkways and hallways taking Joe to the podium are cleared, controlled and completely secured. In and out; entrance and exit; beginning to end — Biden gets the best of the best, the brightest of the bright, the biggest of the big when it comes to sharpshooters, security strategists and physically adept and trained experts.

Laken gets a Lincoln.

American citizens get a middle finger.

Illegals get a free pass and lots of tax-paid benefits.

And now Biden proudly promises to take on the NRA and the Second Amendment and strip even more powers from legal citizens to defend themselves against the thugs and criminals and gang members and traffickers Democrats allow into this country? American citizens aren’t supposed to be sitting ducks for Democrat politics.

Open borders wide. Take away guns from legal citizens. Allow the evil criminal elements to run rampant and roughshod in America. If the Democrats’ plan is to destroy this country before Biden’s term is up, then hats off, hands clapping, heads nodding — they’re wildly successful with their destruction. They truly couldn’t plot a better path to America’s demise. Wonder how many more Lakens, err, Lincolns, will have to die in the process.
