Former President Donald Trump bashed Nikki Haley Wednesday after she dropped out of the running for Republican presidential nominee and called on her backers to support him.

Nikki Haley got TROUNCED last night, in record setting fashion, despite the fact that Democrats, for reasons unknown, are allowed to vote in Vermont, and various other Republican primaries,” Mr. Trump wrote on Truth Social. “Much of her money came from Radical Left Democrats, as did many of her voters, almost 50%, according to the polls.”

He said he hopes she “stays in the ‘race’ and fights it out until the end.”

He thanked those who supported him, and said his Super Tuesday wins — all but Vermont — were “the most successful Super Tuesday in HISTORY.”

The former president invited “all of the Haley supporters to join the greatest movement in the history of our Nation!”

“BIDEN IS THE ENEMY, HE IS DESTROYING OUR COUNTRY. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!!!” he wrote.

Ms. Haley ended her campaign Wednesday after winning only one Super Tuesday primary state. It was only her second victory in the GOP race after winning in the District of Columbia’s primary.

The former South Carolina governor did not endorse Mr. Trump when ending her presidential campaign on Wednesday, but she wished him well.

“It is now up to Donald Trump to earn the votes of those in our party and beyond it who did not support him,” Ms. Haley said. “And I hope he does that.”
