Super Tuesday wasn’t a clean sweep for Donald Trump after all.

Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley won the Vermont Republican primary, marking her second primary win.

With 84% of the vote counted the former South Carolina governor narrowly beat Mr. Trump, winning by 4 percentage points and securing 17 delegates if she stays above the 50% threshold.

The GOP race had been neck and neck all night in a state that permits cross-party and independent voting in party primaries.

Ms, Haley also won the District of Columbia over the weekend, but she has lost to Mr. Trump in every other state primary and caucus by double-digit margins, including in her home state of South Carolina.
