“Shark Tank” investor Mark Cuban says he would vote for President Biden over former President Donald Trump, even if Mr. Biden was on his deathbed.

“If they were having his last wake and it was him versus Trump, and he was being given last rites, I would still vote for Joe Biden,” Mr. Cuban told Bloomberg News in a story published Monday.

He also said he plans on voting for Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley in the Texas Republican primary as a “protest vote against Trump.”

Texas joins the long list of states that hold primaries for Democrats and Republicans on Super Tuesday. There are 15 states and one territory that have delegates up for grabs.

Mr. Cuban, a minority owner of the Dallas Mavericks, voted for Mr. Biden in 2020.

“Donald Trump doesn’t want to run a country. He wants to run a campaign,” Mr. Cuban told Fox News’ Sean Hannity in 2020. “Joe Biden actually wants to run a country.”

Mr. Cuban reiterated his support for Mr. Biden after Elon Musk joked about his unwavering support on X, the social network owned by Mr. Musk.

Mr. Musk posted that Mr. Cuban would still vote for Mr. Biden if he “were a flesh-eating zombie with 5 seconds to live where, upon being re-elected, Earth would plunge into a 1000 years of darkness.”

Mr. Cuban shot back, “My limit is 300 years of darkness.”
