Hezbollah in America: Biden’s borders threaten citizens’ safety

OPINION:

A Lebanese man who’s trained for years with Hezbollah was just arrested at the U.S.-Mexico border, attempting to cross into America, sneak to New York City and — in his own words — “make a bomb.” Then what?

Then — blow it up. Blow it up and kill as many Americans as possible. 

This is what happens when border control is code for Zero Border Control: Bad actors with nefarious designs try to sneak into the country and commit acts of crime and terror. And that is what happens, at least in recent years, every time a Democrat has charge of border control, err, Zero Border Control.

The New York Post, citing U.S. immigration documents, reported Basel Bassel Ebbadi, 22, told officials after he was captured sneaking into America that he had “trained with Hezbollah for seven years and served as an active member guarding weapons’ locations for another four years.”

He also told agents, who asked him what he was doing and where he was going and why he was sneaking into America — this: “I’m going to try to make a bomb.”

Thankfully, he was captured.

Thankfully, his plans to make a bomb — and detonate the bomb — were halted.

Thankfully, America’s border agents were alert enough to stop the security breach and save who knows how many lives. Right?

But all that’s no thanks to Joe Biden and his presidential ambitions to keep borders open as wide as possible, so as to allow in as many illegals as possible, so as to set up a situation where lawful citizens are placed in positions of security risk and safety compromises — all for what, the opportunity to grab some new Democrat Party voters?

Donald Trump won in 2016 largely on a campaign of law and order and border security. Then he immediately took action to secure America’s borders, and return a sense of law and order to the justice system. Promise made, promise fulfilled. Check.

Then Biden and his band of merry open border advocates quickly undid all the safety and security features of the Trump administration, particularly those keeping out — or at least tracking — illegals. Crime ensued. Terror threats ratcheted. Check, check; Democrats are realizing their goals of chaos and mayhem.

History repeats. America’s facing similar security risks now as in 2015-2016. And smartly, Trump is making border control the key feature of his campaign for president. 

Sadly, Democrats are more concerned with protecting their positions of power than the American citizens. 

Hezbollah at America’s borders — and that’s just the known; the captured; the apprehended. Think how many more have successfully snuck across the border. Consider how many other terrorists and terror wannabes have disappeared into parts unknown across this country. Who knows who’s making bombs in a city near you, right at this particular moment in time. Thanks, Joe Biden. Thanks a bunch, Democrat Party.

This November, remember Ebbadi. This 2024 election is about much more than politics, than Democrat versus Republican, than partisan and petty bickering. It’s about saving lives.
