An estimated 7.6 percent of Americans age 18 or older identify as some form of LGBTQ+ persuasion, including more than 1 in 5 Generation Z adults, or those between 18 and 26 years old, and almost 1 in 10 millennials, those from 27 to 42 years of age, a new Gallup survey says.

Call them the lost generations.

These are the ones filled with folks who like to pretend that they can be whatever they want to be simply by wishing it so — which is why, not so coincidentally, they seem to simultaneously carry the brand of socialist wannabes. Both the LGBTQ lunacy and the socialist mindset are rooted in the same sort of delusional thinking: While the LGBTQs fabricate a god of Love is Love is Love, where anything goes so long as it feels good, the socialists falsify truths about basic economies and pretend that money earned by their neighbors actually and rightfully belongs to them — and that, hold on, here’s the magic part, it never runs out.

See the linkage?

One delusion breeds another, breeds another, breeds another. Today’s boy in the girl’s dressing room is tomorrow’s raucous voice for tax-paid entitlements. In both instances, the missing link is a godly moral compass. Just as LGBTQs scoff at the Bible for basic biological truths, so, too, socialists scoff at the Bible and twist its words so government is supposed to give — by taking from others — and borders are supposed to remain wide open and judging those who refuse to work as lazy and entitled is as evil as telling a woman that an abortion is sin. There is no sin, in the eyes of the deluded; there’s only right and wrong as determined by self.

“Increases in LGBTQ+ identification in recent years have occurred as members of Generation Z and the millennial generation have entered adulthood,” Gallup wrote of its new survey. “Adults in these younger generations are far more likely than those in older generations to identify as LGBTQ+.”

That’s because those of older generations were more likely to be raised in the church; raised with biblical values; raised in the common sense and scientifically based ideas of sex and gender — of XX chromosomes versus XY chromosomes and what each meant; raised to raise eyebrows at the psychological disorder called gender dysphoria — not out of hate, but rather at the real recognition of a real mental issue and the real reflective response of its oddity and perversion; and raised to believe in the sanctity of the home, the sanctity of traditional family, the importance of the mother and of the father, and the crucial need for healthy families to thrive not only for their members, but for all of society. If family is the building block of a country — which it is — then godly families and moral families are necessary for a country to prosper.

That is why leftists want to destroy families — and cause chaos with children; it’s all about tearing down society and rebelling against God so that government can seize powers and individuals with mental disorders can run rampant in the streets.

“Overall, each younger generation is about twice as likely as the generation that preceded it to identify as LGBTQ+. More than one in five Gen Z adults, ranging in age from 18 to 26 in 2023, identify as LGBTQ+, as do nearly one in 10 millennials (aged 27 to 42),” Gallup wrote. “The percentage drops to less than 5% of Generation X, 2% of baby boomers and 1% of the Silent Generation.”

As America’s churches empty — as Americans’ faith and belief in the importance of the Bible dwindle — then so come the deluded classes, pretending they can be whatever they want to be, so long as they feel free; pretending, even, that it’s quite normal and acceptable and oh so cosmopolitan and mature to put on cat ears and fuzzy slippers and meow instead of speak English, or throw on a girl’s swimsuit, even though a boy, and compete in all seriousness to win national swim titles.

It’s not that younger people have truthfully turned LGBTQ+. It’s that younger people have decided that it’s cool and acceptable and popular and fun to identify as LGBTQ+ — or that it’s wrong to label someone a girl if that girl, in fact, wants to be called a boy, or a they, or a he-she — and so they’ve taken their belief as “nones,” or religiously unaffiliated, and pushed their lifestyles to new levels of immorality.

The reason the younger generations are more and more frequently identifying as LGBTQ+ is because they’re more delusional than the older generations. And the reasons they’re more delusional than the older generations is they’ve not been raised in the biblical ways to go, or they’ve turned from the biblical ways they were raised to throw in with the world. They’ve rejected truth; they’ve rejected Jesus; and in their foolishness, they have deemed themselves wise.
