The Commanders have agreed to terms with another ex-Dallas Cowboy. Washington plans to sign free agent center Tyler Biadasz, according to NFL.com’s Ian Rapoport.

The 26-year-old was the second free agent who has agreed to follow coach Dan Quinn from Dallas to Washington on Monday. Edge rusher Dorance Armstrong also plans to join the Commanders.

Pro Football Talk reported that the center’s deal has an average annual value of $10 million across three years.

Biadasz was a fourth-round pick in 2020 and became Dallas’s starting center the next season. He has played in 16 games each of the last two seasons, earning Pro Bowl recognition after the 2022 season.

The NFL’s tampering period began at noon on Monday, allowing free agents to negotiate with teams. Deals can not be finalized until the new league year begins at 4 p.m. on Wednesday.

Biadasz joins an offensive line that ranked among the worst in the NFL in 2023, allowing a league-high 65 sacks. The Commanders opened free agency with a league-leading $91.5 million in cap space. New general manager Adam Peters has the flexibility to be aggressive in free agency to bolster a roster with holes at edge rusher, offensive line, and in the secondary.
