After watching President Biden’s reprehensible diatribe of misinformation about how great everything has been under his watch, all I came away with was the firm belief that the man is not only delusional, but amoral (“Mr. President, the state of the union is not strong,” web, March 8).

Mr. Biden claimed our economy is the best it’s ever been, saying he won’t allow trickle-down economics. That’s why he plans to tax the rich and give billions of dollars away in freebies (he apparently missed that these fees will “trickle down” to the taxpayer). He also refused to address why we are paying through the noses for everything we buy these days, but he did say he is going to investigate why a bag of potato chips has now contains fewer chips but costs the same.

His naive supporters mindlessly cheered and clapped at this socialist drivel.

Mr. Biden also had the unmitigated gall to say that he wanted a bill passed to secure our southern border but former President Donald Trump told the Republicans not to vote for it. He neglected to mention, of course, that the bill in question wouldn’t have secured anything. All it would have done was process migrants into the U.S. more quickly.

By the way, many of these “asylum-seekers” are a serious threat to our country. Consider the fact that they were ousted by their home countries for criminal acts they are now doing here.

Mr. Biden promised to support law enforcement around the country, yet he never said he would fire prosecutors for not doing their jobs, letting criminals run rampant. To say that Mr. Biden can’t be trusted is an understatement.
