Former President Donald Trump suggested that President Biden should take a drug test before they debate on Thursday.
“DRUG TEST FOR CROOKED JOE BIDEN??? I WOULD, ALSO, IMMEDIATELY AGREE TO ONE!!!” Mr. Trump posted Monday on Truth Social.
Critics have talked about performance-enhancing drugs since Mr. Biden’s vibrant performance at his State of the Union address in March.
Mr. Trump and Mr. Biden will face off Thursday on the debate stage in Georgia. The event will be hosted by CNN and moderated by Jake Tapper and Dana Bash.
At 81, Mr. Biden is the oldest president, and some have said that he is not fit for a second term. Mr. Trump is 3 years younger than Mr. Biden.
Both candidates have made blunders, and the debate will be a pivotal moment to see how they fare.
