In a woke extravaganza, an MSNBC host stepped in to correct her co-host after he used the term “illegal immigrant.”

The incident occurred when former Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele began questioning Kevin Roberts, president of the Heritage Foundation about his stance on “illegal immigrants” in the U.S.

His co-host, Symone Sanders-Townsend, quickly interrupted, emphasizing the preferred terminology.

“Just to clarify,” Ms. Sanders-Townsend interjected, “we should refer to them as ’undocumented individuals.’”

Mr. Roberts, however, stood his ground.

“That’s fine, but they’re still illegal aliens,” he said.

After Ms. Sanders-Townsend’s correction, Mr. Steele continued the conversation, using the term “undocumented individuals.” Mr. Steele then challenged Mr. Roberts on his viewpoint by addressing the generalization of an entire community based on the actions of a few.

“You’re suggesting that because some individuals act wrongly, it reflects on the entire community,” Mr. Steele argued, following Mr. Roberts’ reference to recent crimes committed by illegal immigrants.

Ms. Sanders-Townsend added that, statistically, undocumented immigrants in Texas are 37.1% less likely to be convicted of a crime compared to native-born citizens.

But Mr. Roberts countered by citing specific tragic instances, such as the murder of 22-year-old nursing student Laken Riley by a 26-year-old undocumented immigrant from Venezuela.

“What do you say to the families of these victims?” he asked. “How do you address their grief?”

Ms. Sanders-Townsend responded by accusing Mr. Roberts of exploiting these tragic cases to vilify millions of undocumented individuals. “You’re using a terrible tragedy to demonize 11 million people,” she said.

Mr. Roberts dismissed her accusation. “That’s an absurd claim,” he said. “The real issue is how Joe Biden is weaponizing the government against Americans.”
