Half the country is screaming with glee that former President Donald Trump was found guilty by a “jury of his peers,” so I have to ask, how many billionaires made up the jury?

As a 100% disabled Marine Vietnam War veteran, former law enforcement officer and independent voter, I wouldn’t have the audacity to consider a billionaire and former president of the United States my peer.

What’s more, Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg and his co-conspirators around the country abused their offices by filing charges that didn’t fit the alleged crimes. They prostituted the law by manipulating the meanings of said law to make Mr. Trump’s actions a crime. In doing so, they are guilty of prosecutorial misconduct.

To add insult to injury, Judge Juan Merchan showed his contempt for the law by colluding with the DA’s office during the trial. It was reported that most of the time he denied objections by the defense team, making it clear that Mr. Trump had no chance of a fair trial.

I was considered for a seat on the bench in my younger days, so I know when a judge doesn’t belong in his or her position — and Judge Merchan should be removed.

For all those Trump-haters wanting to be loyal to the Democrats and President Biden, I say this: Loyalty above all else except honor. Through a corrupt judicial system and their accomplices in the mainstream media, Mr. Biden and his cohorts have falsely tagged Mr. Trump as a felon when they are the ones guilty of breaking the law. He who laughs last laughs best.
