Hunter Biden has dropped a lawsuit he filed against Fox News over a miniseries the network was creating about him.

Biden dropped the suit over the program, “The Trial of Hunter Biden: A Mock Trial for the American People,” on Sunday just hours after his father, President Biden, ended his reelection bid.

Hunter Biden’s lawyers had alleged in the lawsuit that the program was made to “harass, annoy, alarm and humiliate him and tarnish his reputation.”

Fox News Media called the lawsuit “entirely politically motivated [and] devoid of merit” when it was first filed.

Biden is also seeking dismissal of his cases in Delaware and California, citing the “unconstitutional” appointment of special counsel David Weiss.

The call for dismissal came after U.S. District Judge Aileen Cannon dismissed former President Donald Trump’s classified documents case in Florida, citing the unconstitutional appointment of special counsel Jack Smith on the case.

Biden was found guilty last month in Delaware of three federal gun charges. His federal tax charge case in California is set for September.
