Former President Donald Trump went on a tirade on Truth Social about President Biden dropping out of the presidential race as fraudulent, dirty politics.
The slew of posts started with Mr. Trump’s initial response to Mr. Biden’s dropping out of the race Sunday, where he called him “the Worst President, by far, in the History of our Nation.”
He then went on to put up 11 more posts on Truth Social between then and Monday afternoon.
In some he railed against Mr. Biden’s COVID-19 diagnosis, and in others he bashed the debate between him and Mr. Biden last month in Georgia, saying the next one should be hosted by Fox News instead of ABC News.
In another, he questioned whether the Republican Party should be “reimbursed for fraud in that everybody around Joe, including his doctors and the Fake News Media, knew he was not capable of running for, or being, President?”
“So, we are forced to spend time and money on fighting Crooked Joe Biden, he polls badly after having a terrible debate, and quits the race. Now we have to start all over again,” Mr. Trump said in the same post.
In another, he also joked about Mr. Biden’s mental acuity and “wondered” aloud whether the president would wake up today “and forget that he dropped out of the race!”
“Who is running our Country right now? It’s not Crooked Joe, he has no idea where he is. If he can’t run for office, he can’t run our Country!!!” he said in a Sunday night post.
In a Monday post he called Democrats “the real threat to democracy.”
“The Democrats pick a candidate, Crooked Joe Biden, he loses the Debate badly, then panics, and makes mistake after mistake, is told he can’t win, and decide they will pick another candidate, probably Harris,” Mr. Trump said. “They stole the race from Biden after he won it in the primaries — A First! These people are the real threat to democracy!”
In a post just 20 minutes later, Mr. Trump again hit Mr. Biden on his mental acuity.
“It’s a new day and Joe doesn’t remember quitting the race yesterday! He is demanding his campaign schedule and arranging talks with Presidents Xi of China, and Putin of Russia, concerning the possible start of World War 3. Biden is ‘sharp, decisive, energetic, angry, and ready to go!’” he said.
In the 12th post, Mr. Trump again called Mr. Biden the worst president in history, and this time added in some hits against Vice President Kamala Harris, whom Mr. Biden and numerous other high-profile Democratic elders have endorsed to be the party’s nominee.
“Joe Biden will go down as the Worst President in the history of the United States,” he said before switching to his signature all-capital-letters style. “Kamala, our horrible & incompetent border czar, will be worse!” he said.
Ms. Harris said Sunday that she will seek the Democratic nomination and accepted Mr. Biden’s endorsement.
